This morning, Tuesday 1 April, at 11:00 UTC, Concorde departed from London Heathrow Intercontinental Airport and landed at JFK (John F. Kennedy) Airport in New York at 13:34 UTC.

The flight is BA9999 and has not yet made its return flight, will it be just a one-off flight or does it represent the beginning of the second supersonic era?
