KLM Flight Review: Comfort in the Skies
On February 14th, the Aviation Eagle team headed from Milan Linate (LIN) to Amsterdam (AMS). Our KLM flight review highlights a journey of contrasts. The Boeing 737-900ER greeted us with a sophisticated cabin featuring "calm blue" seating—a perfect balance between brand identity and passenger relaxation. The seats were notably comfortable, setting a high standard for European short-haul flights.

Safety, Catering, and Valentine's Surprises
Safety protocols were executed with surgical precision, leaving no room for error. To celebrate Valentine's Day, the crew distributed chocolates, a gesture we highly appreciated. While the beverage selection remained top-tier, the food quality fell short of expectations. It was a minor turbulence in an otherwise smooth service flow.
The Cabin Bag Dilemma
The main issue during this KLM flight review was the ground handling policy. Passengers were notified 48 hours in advance that overhead bins might be restricted, forcing hand luggage into the hold. For a large aircraft like the 737-900ER, especially when cabin space is still visible, this policy feels like an unnecessary operational bottleneck that KLM should address to maintain its premium status.
