Air India 171, 241 deaths.

On June 12, 2025, flight AI171 crashed shortly after takeoff.

As you can see from the video, the aircraft, a 787-8 DreamLiner, crashes immediately after takeoff from runway 23 at Ahmedabad airport.

At about 620 feet of altitude the plane suddenly seems to lose lift. The causes are being ascertained but we can do a visual analysis. As you can see the 787 had not YET retracted the landing gear, this situation can occur if the plane did not have a positive rate of climb which is the moment in which the landing gear is retracted by the pilots.

In conclusion we cannot determine if it was a human error or some other reason.
